Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
Welcome to the ICT section of the school website.
"The ICT faculty's vision is to prepare all learners with the experience and ICT skills that they will use, need and develop in a rapidly changing technological world of the future."
Information and communication technology (ICT) capability is an essential skill for life and enables learners to participate in a rapidly changing world.
The effective use of ICT can also promote wider educational goals such as creativity, thinking skills, collaboration and independent learning. ICT-capable learners make informed judgements about when and where to use ICT, and to consider the implications of ICT on home, work and society. As a Technology College, Beaverwood offers an exceptionally high standard of technological opportunities. Our ICT facilities include:
dedicated computer and media suites
cable and wireless networks
laptops
digital video and stills cameras
interactive whiteboards
