Parking on Zig-Zag Yellow Lines
|

Currently Parents/Carers are being warned, by Bromley Borough, that the CCTV mobile unit (Smart Car) is continuing to enforce parking regulations on the Zig-Zag yellow lines outside all the Borough's Schools.
The car, which carries recording equipment on board, should deter inconsiderate motorists who have stopped or parked dangerously outside schools. Parents/carers who even momentarily stop on the yellow Zig-Zag lines risk receiving a fine of up to £120 in the post.
Civil Enforcement Officers will also issue penalties to vehicles parked on Zig-Zag lines. In addition, they can enforce other parking restrictions, such as parking across a drive without the resident's permission. Vehicles parked in this way may also receive a fine of up to £120.
